CE Class Policies for ‘Live/ In- House Continuing Education Classes’ 

Registration for classes

Registration is available through our website’s secure shopping cart only and payment is due at that time. Registration will be open up to 48 hours prior to the class day. Online registration allows us to process the paperwork in an orderly fashion and secures the students’ enrollment in classes that may have size limitations. This enables us to confirm all participants and plan ahead for the accurate amount of handouts to be distributed. Please be sure to provide a current email address and telephone number so that you may be notified in the event of a faculty initiated cancellation. Students will not be able to pay for the class on the day of the class.

Sign In

Students will have the opportunity to sign in for the class at the front desk. A sign in sheet will be provided and all participants must provide their license number. This information is necessary in the event we need to help the student prove their attendance to any regulating board.

Cancellations/ Classes Rescheduled

Classes that do not have an adequate enrollment number will be rescheduled for a later date. Students who have purchased the class and preregistered will be notified by the staff via telephone or email and credit will transfer to the future class or a refund will be given for the cancelled class. A cancellation will be determined 48 hours before the day of class. If a cancellation has occurred, students who have not preregistered (those wanting to show up the day of the class) are forewarned that an instructor will not be present and the student will not have the opportunity to sit on campus to acquire class hours. No CE credits will be awarded.

Classes may be subject to reschedule due to inclement weather or faculty emergency (a cancellation of this type may be required with less than 48 hours notice).

Classes that are cancelled or rescheduled by the faculty will incur no fee.

Classes that are voluntarily cancelled by the student will receive a refund minus a 50% processing fee.

Students who wish to voluntarily reschedule a class may do so and will receive a credit for the future class minus a 50% processing fee. Payment is due at the time of rescheduling.

CE Hours Awarded

CE hours will be awarded for completion of the designated time for the class. Students will not be permitted to leave early simply because they need fewer hours. Emergencies will be excused.


A materials list will accompany the class description. Please bring all materials required.
