School of Therapeutic Massage and Reflexology

Thank you for inquiring about our school and the current programs that we offer. Appalachian Training Center for Healing Arts offers several different class schedules for our 500 hour massage therapy programs which are approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.  We offer a Full-Time Day Class, a Part-Time Evening Class, and a Fast-Track/Accelerated Class.  Our Full-Time day class is offered in the spring and fall each year and can be completed in 21 weeks.  Students will attend class Tuesday-Friday from 9am-3pm.  Our Part-Time program was designed for those having to work full time jobs through the day yet would still like to attend school and for those that may wish to learn at a slower pace.  Evening classes will be held each Tuesday and Thursday night from 5:30pm-10:30 pm for 50 weeks.  Evening classes begin each January and June.  Our Fast-Track/Accelerated massage therapy program was developed for students with a limited window of opportunity to go to school or for those that can dedicate 40 hours a week to learning the art and science of massage therapy. This schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm and includes ample in house study time which allows the student to have study questions answered by a highly trained staff along with plenty of reference materials available. Believe it or not you can train in just 12.5 weeks and prepared to take and pass your National Certification Exam and apply for your massage license.   ATCHA also offers a 200 hour Reflexology Program which starts in the spring and fall.  Class times are from 3:00 to 6:30 Tuesday-Friday and can be completed in 14.5 weeks.  No matter which class format you choose, you get to keep your weekends.
